Here we have a lovely nostalgic village scene showing a street of small wooden dwellings with villagers strolling and conversing with each other, in the distance the coast is visible with masts from fishing boats. Oil on canvas with signs of age and lightly crackled paint, is signed S van Veldhuijzen, believed to be from the 20's.
