George III piecrust tableSOLD
This is a stunning large size piecrust tilt-top table late 18th century, finest quality, has previously been retailed by Spillman and Co, St Martins Lane London, a very reputable exclusive antique dealer of the time.
The top is quite remarkable being carved out of one solid plank 78cm wide! Legs and pedestal are beautifuly carved and decorated, tilting mecahnism is also in good order and original.
The patina and finish is very good and is thouht to be largely original.
