This is a superb quality Georgian mahogany Comode from 1770 yes thats 237 years old ! , the colour and proportions of it are very desirable , it is more expensive than my 19th century chests but compared to what they were priced a few years ago( ie €3000) its a bargain , and with the feel of a real georgian patina it is certainly a conoisseur's choice!
