Stunning inlaid mahogany bookcase late 18th century with a secretaire drawer at the top of the base, lovely delicate glazed doors full of satinwood and boxwood inlays, three adjustable shelves.
Base has a lovely set of gilded handles and keyhole escutcheons, drawers decorated with satinwood borders and black and white lining. drawers are oak linned with original Georgian blue lining paper.
Rare and desirable piece in lovely restored state, has just had a full restoration of 18hrs work, dismantles into three parts.
