Mediterranean coast 19th centurySOLD
Oil on canvas dated Dec 1866 and with monogramed initials what appears to be A L W.
On the reverse side there is some writting indicating that it is the coast of Cappodocia, which is now Eastern Anatolia in Turkey.
It is a rather nice atmospheric work in the Romantic Italian school, the frame is probably from the 20's.
