Here's a lovely brass bound engraved writing box in curl mahogany with an ebany faced interior origonal tooled black leather, inkwell and hidden three drawers with secret catch, unusual the second lock and key in the interior.
The finish is also the origonal French polish which is remarkable.
dated to arround 1870.
