Seascape George KnighSOLD
Lovely 19th century rough sea with a returning fishing smack approaching harbour probably somewhere close to Dover England. This is signed by George Knight a known marine artist from that time he was active from 1872-1892, this is a very nice example of his work and also has similaritys with a work from the famous J M W Turner who had in turn copied Willem van de Velde.
