Here is a lovely humorous work of lads ambushing and snowballing an old fellow as he walks down an alley, he tries in vain to ward them off with his umbrella. Oil on a mahogany panel, lovely antique frame, thought to be early 20th century, unsigned although thought to be by Fritz von Uhde( 1848-1911) likely to be the old village of Zandvoort, where he was staying in 1882, there are similar known works by him from this time.
