Here is a delightful walnut bureau, mid-18th century, with lovely book matched figured walnut veneers, herringbone bandings and a lovely mellowed out interior with black leather ledger. Has pull columns with a rather unusual wood slide locks situated in the pigeon hole to secure the columns from inquisitive spouses or partners. good pat tined surfaces all round wax finished, a nice example of these quite rare pieces.
