Walnut chest of drawersSOLD
This is a superb walnut chest which has been in use as a campaign chest or millitary chest, it is late 18th century, has a beautiful colour, herringbone inlaid drawers with the rescessed handles in an unusual pattern, large brass carrying handles on the ends, ther is also a number of pieces of teak worked into the base of the carcase, a typical timber used for the millitary furniture, and also in one of the oak linned drawers there is a name of the owner.
