English Windsor Chair 19th century from Elm and Ash , famous design much copied in America , this is the real thing, contructed in a rural setting by what was known as Chair Bodgers , who often worked in the woods with green wood ( just felled)and a treddle lathe attached to a springy branch, there was a time when every rural house would have only had these type of chairs ! these days there not so common most having been exported to the states where they fetch up to 2000 dolars !!!
