Inuit kayakSOLD
Early Inuit Greenland eskimo kayak made by the native Inuit's when they still knew how to build their kayaks, it is a very accurate model wood framed and covered with seal skin and with bone fittings, in remarkaably intact condition includes the line carrier line and spear among other extras.
There are very few full size versions of these boats in survival, this one is matched with one that is exibited in a museum in Canada, it is in my opinion one of the best designs and is the ressult of centurys of experimentation in different forms, none of which have been documented by the Inuit people.
size: 52cm long.
