18th century Marquetry BureauSOLD

This is an exquisite solid Cuban mahogany bureau from the mid 18th century, original gilded Rococo handles, superb fan inlaid corners and satin wood crossbanding strips framing drawers fall and even the feet!

Drawers are all oak linned,  it has an old French polish pattina  which has been burnished and waxed.

This is a bureau of remarkable quality, superb integrity, has early inlays and origional handles, very often these things have been added to modernize a slightly bland piece of Georgian furniture, here not the case these are competely right!!  You would have to look very hard to find a more stunning bureau.
