This is a extremely high quality mahogany bookcase, almost certainly one of the most expensive London makers, was made around 1890, completely true to the Georgian design book, its very heavy quality mahogany all solid, with a finish inside and out that is only camparable to a french polished piano.

Origionally this piece had wooden shelves in the top, it now has two very thick glass shelves and six lights fitted to use as a display cabinet, should wooden shelves be required this can be arranged.
