Unique Extending double padfoot dropleaf tableSOLD
This is a table from the first half of the 18th century, consisting of two drop leaf frames in heavy Honduras mahogany, both have one hinged leaf and one loose, this is a very flexible arrangement as the two leaves can be left out, and if still too big the outer dropleaves can be folded down. The top is all matching and polished with heat resistand French polish , legs have a superb wax pattina.
The whole table has only eight legs, very conveiniant for placing chairs and is still very stable.
This is a unique piece as there are no records of these tables in this extending form existing, probably a one off !
